Whether you struggle with your emotions on a day to day basis or have a medical condition such as diabetes or cancer, your entire life can feel like it has been taken over by the management of your emotions and illness. Our providers understand the complexity of your unique experience and work with you to design the treatment plan that is best for you.
Therapy is a joint effort, where our providers will get to know you and how you have managed your life to this point. Together, you will discuss what has worked for you in the past and what you have learned from these attempts. Our providers are often present and solution focused. Your past will be discussed only as much as is needed to help get to know you and your personal struggles.

Therapy may involve biofeedback for anxiety and pain management, neurofeedback for increasing attention, cognitive rehabilitation for rediscovering your abilities after a brain injury or stroke, behavioral therapy for weight loss or emotional eating, cognitive therapy for increasing your self-image and motivation, and mindfulness for learning to find peace with your thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Your commitment to change is key. Appointments are typically scheduled weekly or biweekly depending on the severity of your symptoms. Therapy sessions can be expected to taper off over time, allowing you to manage your own life while still feeling connected and supported through your work with our providers.

Our providers believe the primary goal in therapy is to get you back to a fully functioning life!
